More than 30 people were interviewed for this book. Each played a vital role in the early years of the NHS. Their stories have helped to shape the contents of this book and enable us to see what life was like for Caribbean health practitioners in the first twenty or so years of the NHS. There is a brief biography of each interviewee on the following pages.
